Unique
to date might be some of the services that Cargo Crew Inc. is
offering to Transport Companies and Drivers;
The
Driver will be received by our yard-personnel at the Security
Gate
and will be handed a leaflet with the precise instructions and
regulations
issued by the Warehouse Authorities. All Drivers who arrive at
a
delivery or pick-up location, will be guided through the
parking,
driver check-in and docking-procedures. From signing-into
receiving,
to checking out when they receive their signed papers, close guidance
will be provided.
Each Driver will receive a pager assigned exclusively to him.
This serves as a discrete communication means, which is not
possible over CB.
Drivers often use their waiting times in the yard or on the
dock until
their trucks get unloaded, to take a little rest in their
bunk, which really
makes it difficult to stay tuned to a cb-channel over which
dozens of other Drivers receive their orders too.
Therefore, the pager is not only discrete, but the Driver can
relax until
his personal pager goes off.
Providing the load was dry and was not leaking any liquids,
each unloaded truck, trailer or container, will be cleaned
out, the trash disposed of and swept or vacuumed.
(Washouts cannot be performed)
Cargo Crew Inc. offers Lumper-Accounts
to all National-Carriers.
Advantages are; Company- or lease -Drivers don't have to deal
with
cash or checks anymore and a weekly direct billing to the
Carrier,
can significantly, lower the rate of the lumper-fee.
